A House With Centuries of History

Trudon’s story begins in 1643, when Claude Trudon owned a shop on Paris’s Rue Saint-Honoré selling spices and candles. In 1702, a candle and wax manufacture was established in Antony, south of Paris, and in 1719 it became a Royal Manufacture the only candle manufacturer ever to receive that distinction. 

Over the centuries, Trudon supplied candles to the French royal and imperial courts and became celebrated for its mastery of beeswax and candle making. 

History, Reimagined Through Scent

Modern Trudon continues that heritage while transforming it into evocative fragrances inspired by people, places, and stories. The house’s scented candles were introduced in 2007, and today its candles are crafted in Normandy using savoir-aire passed down through generations of master candlemakers.
